Notting Hill, London

3 Bedrooms · mews ·REFURBISHMENT

The brief was largely to temper the mood of the previous interiors. The overall aesthetic was almost alpine, and had an inescapable masculinity about it. It was brutalist, wooden and angular, relying heavily on clunky materials. The space needed softening, some TLC and a more considered use of colour and material.

We wanted to create a fluidity that unified the spaces in this Notting Hill project. With the use of repeated pattern and colour, we provided a certain connectivity between the interlocking spaces.

There is no space left unconsidered in this exciting and vibrant property. The spaces are not distinct, so creating different zones for different purposes throughout the property was a challenge.
