PRIVATE DESIGN ADVISORY
A PRIVATE CONSULTATION WITH BRIAN WOULFE
Four ways to work with the studio, each delivered by the same team, to the same standard, from concept through to handover.
Full-service design for private homes, from single-room refurbishments to complete back-to-brick renovations of period property. We take responsibility for the whole journey, working alongside the architect or the contractor.

Workspaces, hospitality and private members' environments designed to perform commercially and feel genuinely good to be in. We balance brand, brief and budget with the same material rigour we bring to a private residence.

Show homes and marketing suites for developers who need the space to sell. We design to a target buyer and a target value, then deliver photography-ready interiors on programme, including CGI visualisation ahead of practical completion.

A focused, one-to-one conversation with Brian Woulfe for those seeking an experienced perspective on an interior, a property or a project in any stage of its progress. Held online, charged at £750 + VAT for 60 minutes.

A focused, one-to-one conversation for those seeking an experienced perspective on an interior, a property or a project in any stage of its progress.
Whether you are considering working with Designed by Woulfe, refining a scheme already under way or facing a decision that would benefit from an expert eye, this private consultation provides direct access to Brian’s judgement, design knowledge and international experience.
Bring a single question, a collection of plans or an entire scheme. The session is shaped around what would be most valuable to you.
£750 per hour + VAT. Held online using the video or telephone platform of your choice.
The most consequential design decisions are rarely made in isolation. A change to the plan can alter the way a room is furnished. A material choice can affect light, maintenance and atmosphere. A seemingly minor compromise can shape how a home is experienced for many years.
The value of an experienced perspective lies not only in providing an answer, but in identifying the right questions. With over 100 projects completed across five continents, Brian has seen it all.
During your consultation, Brian will consider the project as a whole, offer clear and candid guidance, and help you distinguish between what is essential, what could be refined and where investment will have the greatest effect.
This is not a prescribed design package. It is time with Brian, directed entirely towards your priorities.
A private consultation can be used to:
The hour may be centred on one important decision or used to examine a project more broadly. There is no requirement to follow a fixed agenda.
An initial consultation with Designed by Woulfe is intended to establish the broad parameters of a prospective commission: the property, the client’s ambitions, the likely scope, timing and principal requirements.
A private online consultation allows for a more substantial exchange.
It is dedicated time to examine plans, test ideas, discuss specific concerns and explore the project in considerably greater depth, from buying the property to decorating the last shelves. It may be booked as a standalone advisory session or used as a thoughtful step before engaging the studio for a broader project.
There is no obligation to proceed beyond the consultation. Its purpose is to give you informed, useful direction in its own right.
Your consultation provides 60 minutes of direct access to Brian. The conversation can be strategic, creative or practical, according to the decisions currently facing you.
Each private consultation is charged at a fixed rate of £750 + VAT for 60 minutes.
Sessions may take place using your preferred video or telephone platform. You may present material by screen share, show Brian the property live by video or simply use the time for a private conversation.
Select a suitable time and provide a brief outline of the property, project or questions you would like to discuss.
Ahead of the consultation, you may share any essential supporting material. This might include plans, photographs, a concise presentation, moodboards, product links, quotations or an existing design proposal.
The clearer the priorities, the more focused and productive the conversation can be.
Join the consultation using your preferred platform. Brian will focus on the matters most important to you, question assumptions where useful and provide practical direction throughout the session.

Advice provided during the consultation is based on the information made available at the time and is offered for general design guidance. It does not replace structural, architectural, engineering, planning, legal, financial or quantity-surveying advice where specialist professional input is required.
No. An initial consultation is a preliminary conversation intended to establish the broad scope of a potential commission and whether the studio may be an appropriate fit.
The private consultation provides dedicated advisory time with Brian and allows for a more detailed discussion of plans, ideas, design decisions or an existing project.
The consultation can cover almost any aspect of an interior or property project, including layout, architectural character, materials, lighting, furniture, art, colour, project priorities, investment decisions and the overall direction of a scheme.
It may also be used to discuss how Designed by Woulfe would approach a prospective commission.
Yes. The session may be used as an independent second opinion on work being undertaken by another designer, architect or professional team.
Any advice will be based on the information made available during the consultation and does not transfer responsibility for the design or delivery of the project to Designed by Woulfe.
Begin with the decisions or questions that matter most. A concise list of priorities is generally more useful than a large volume of background information.
You may also provide plans, photographs, presentations, moodboards, product links or existing proposals where these help explain the project.
The session will be held using the video or telephone platform you prefer. You may share your screen, present photographs and plans, show Brian the property by video or conduct the session entirely as a conversation.
Drawings, specifications, schedules and written reports are not included in the standard consultation. These services may be discussed separately where appropriate.
Yes. Where there is a natural fit between the project and the studio, the consultation may lead to a wider engagement with Designed by Woulfe.
It is equally suitable as a self-contained advisory session, with no obligation to appoint the studio afterwards.

We order, track and inspect, manage lead times and deal with makers directly, with transparent budget management throughout.
A co-ordinated installation. We dress the house down to the books, the linen and the flowers, then hand you the keys to a finished home.
No matter the scope or scale of a project, we would be delighted to hear about it. Share a little about the property and what you would like it to become, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
